So You Want to Know More About Me

I'm Taksch Dube, 25 years old, which means I'm just old enough to reference 90s TV shows but young enough to understand TikTok (theoretically).

Professionally, I build things with code. Specifically, I specialize in Next.js, PostgreSQL, and Neon Serverless—a tech stack I chose after an appropriate amount of research and an inappropriate amount of Twitter debates. I've created projects like mySORS (a tool for business valuation that won't put you to sleep), MatchTx (genetics matching that doesn't make you want to throw your computer), and Talent Marathon (because recruiting should be less painful than an actual marathon).

When I'm not writing code or helping companies with M&A deals (which is corporate for "buying and selling businesses while using as many acronyms as possible"), I'm either traveling, cooking something I saw on YouTube that's definitely not going to look the same when I'm finished, or studying financial markets in a way that makes me fun at exactly zero parties.

I like learning languages too—both human and programming ones. The human languages help me order food correctly in different countries. The programming languages help me create things that occasionally work as intended on the first try (a rare but beautiful experience).

In 2025, I'm starting my PhD in Computer Science, focusing on AI. This is either the smartest decision I've ever made or clear evidence that I don't value sleep. I'm excited about it though—there's something fascinating about teaching computers to be intelligent when sometimes I can barely remember where I put my keys.

Let's connect and shape the future together.
